As a fan of the new electronic music, Juergen Johannes W. traveled around the world to celebrate the new sound. He visited the trendy clubs and events in Germany, on Ibiza, Ko Phangan and in Goa. In the mid-nineties he began to set himself up under the name „da-tune“. With vinyl and, above all, electronic ambient and chill-out sound, he performed at the Cologne Summerjam, Europe’s largest reggae festival, and made a name there. He later extended his repertoire to include triphop, dub, drum & bass and big beats.

In the 90s, he began his studies in Audio Engineering & Multimedia Producer at the SAE in Cologne. Since then he has been working in various recording studios and radio stations in Cologne and Berlin. From 1998 to 2000, he hosted his own show „Wake up“ at Radio Evosonic, the first online radio station that played electronic music around the clock. With Ambient Triphop and Drum & Bass he played light, fluffy sound. Best Sunday morning music.

At the end of the 90s, Juergen Johannes expanded his electronic music style to include Big Beats, Deep House and Trip Hop Sound. Gigs in Berlin at the Love Parade followed, as well as Germany-wide in various clubs. Also for festivals he is always booked again, to play the Ambient- and alternative floor.

To date, He has been active in the music business. As a co-producer and studio technician he is involved in various music productions, from film recordings to trailer production. Now he has released the „Landing EP“ under the new project name Chesta-Audio on momental.
It started with Chesta´s 20-year-old collection of Sampling-CDs. He searched for exciting rap samples and found his new EP. Spontaneously inspired, he composed soundtracks for many hours. To make the song sound like the 90s, he rebuilt his old computer to produce the EP. It was still from the 90s and stood forgotten in the corner. He had never discarded him because there was still music on it … Chesta also worked with older sequencer software to edit, arrange and mix the audio tracks. The result was a more analog sound. A song like a time trip. Rap with Triphop and Bigbeat influences.  Funky, playful, cheerful. Clearly with earworm potential.
